Travel Supreme, Inc. Company Profile

The Travel Supreme, Inc. motorhome company began in 1989, with an 870 square foot factory located in Wakarusa, Indiana. At its peak, Travel Supreme coaches and fifth-wheels were manufactured at their 120,000 square foot facility in Wakarusa.

Unfortunately, Travel Supreme was another unfortunate casualty of skyrocketing fuel prices and the recession which began in 2008. The company seemed to have a partial resurrection when some of Travel Supreme's remaining assets were purchased by Jayco Corp. of Middlebury, Indiana.

Jayco's new subsidiary is called Entegra Coach, and will continue building high-end Class A coaches and luxury fifth wheels.

By December 2008, Jayco announced the closure for the Entegra Coach plant in Wakarusa, moving production to a pre-existing Jayco facility in Middlebury (source: www.goshennews.com).

For many years, Travel Supreme's fifth wheel RVs were one of the top selling fifth wheel brands in the industry. The first Travel Supreme diesel pusher motorhomes began rolling off the assembly line in 1999. Travel Supreme coaches used the K3 or ME2 mid-engine diesel platform made by Spartan Motor Chassis.
