Extreme RV Company Profile

The Extreme RV company, located in Caldwell, Idaho, began in 2003, with an employee purchase of the KIT Manufacturing Company's RV division. KIT Manufacturing dates back to 1945, when it was a builder of "teardrop" style trailers in Long Beach, California.

The new company retained KIT's product line, which included the Companion, Extreme SUT, the Monterey, Road Ranger, and Sportsmaster trailers. Extreme RV also manufactures a full line of towable "ramp trailers" and wide-body toy haulers, including the Extreme and MegaLite. Some of their longer trailer and fifth-wheel models also include either one, or two slide-outs.
