Country Coach, Inc. (CCI) Company Profile

The luxury motor home builder Country Coach, Inc. (now Country Coach Holdings, LLC), of Junction City, Oregon, was founded by Bob Lee in 1973, as "Country Camper," a name he borrowed from a Barbie doll play set. Lee was one of the founding partners of the Caribou Manufacturing Company, which later became the Monaco Coach Corporation.

Country Coach was one of the premier builders of super-luxury class-a motor coaches. Over its life-span, the company has developed a reputation for the high build quality of its recreational vehicles, and personalized customer service.

Past Country Coach models include the Inspire, Affinity, Allure, Intrigue, Lexa and Magna, built with the Dynomax Chassis and/or the Prevost Bus Conversion. Country Coach was owned by National R.V. Holdings, Inc. until its sale in February 2007, forming Country Coach Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Riley Investment Management, LLC (RIM) in Los Angeles, California.

Country Coach filed for bankruptcy in 2009, and was ordered into a Chapter 7 liquidation in November, 2009 (See: www.registerguard.com). Company assets were auctioned off in February, 2010 (See: www.kmtr.com).
